Ball Valves with trunnions help maintain consistent flow rates for high capacity, heavy-duty applica- tions. They have a rotatable ball with a cylindrical flow passage through the center to the con- trol flow. When the ball is turned one-quarter of the way, the flow stops. The FloMAX Bulk Fuel Nozzle has been designed to transfer large volumes of fuel at high flow rate using existing standard 1 1⁄2” fuel receivers. While best results will be obtained using a FloMAX FRA, FRS, or FR-RS fuel receiver, the BFN is completely compatible with all industry standard fuel receivers.
The BFN has a push-to-connect design that releases from the receiver with a gentle pull on the pullback or the poly coated stainless steel lan- yard. This is a dry break nozzle that uses the same poppet and vulcanized Viton seal valve sleeve as the FloMAX FN600 and FNBL fuel nozzles. The BFN is an excellent option when high fuel flow is required, but auto shutoff isn’t. The FRX-BFN connects to the FRX 2′′ fuel receiver. It has all the same design features as our standard BFN.

Globe Valves use a linear motion to move a closure member into and out of a seating surface. They have a body distinguished by a globular-shaped cavity around the port region. RPD-RPS rack & pinion actuators offer a reliable, easy and cost effective solution, providing max- imum torque output with mini- mum supply pressure. The hous- ing can be ductile iron or carbon steel; all other parts are in carbon steel as a minimum.
RPHD and RPHS hydraulic actuators are suitable for high pressure applications and on/off or modulating heavy duty service.
Solid 316 SS or Titanium Body The Max-Series heavy duty shaft and bearing design make it last even when operating at high differ- ential pressures for extended lengths of time. Its solid construc- tion and oversized heavy duty bolts will minimize pump distortion caused by piping misalignment. The pump mounting bracket is made of corrosion resistant 316 SS or sturdy Cast Iron.
The Max-Series pumps feature helical gears and relieved wear plates for smoother and quieter operation and intrinsic reduction of gear separa- tion forces. Their unique and durable design will assure extended life in highpressure pumping applications. The Max-Series pumps are available in Sealed and Mag-Drive
versions with flows up to 20 GPM and differential pressures up to 350 PSI.
High-Performance Butterfly Valves are used in throttling ap- plications requiring large flow capacities and small installed footprints. They use a rotating eccentric disk to control flow through a pipe. The disk is generally operable through 90 de- grees and provides a linear flow characteristic. These valves have nominal sizes from DN50 to DN1800 (from NPS 2 to 72) and pressure class up to PN420 (CL2500 according to ASME) depending on the model.

The mentioned working pressures are just valid for the pressures applied on the direction of the arrow market on the body. As the valve is designed with gate support guides, the valves are able to support a 30% of these pressures from the opposite direction without any damage on them. In these cases, the valves are not 100% water tight. To obtain total water tightness in these conditions, it is necessary to incorporate additional supports.

When mounting LE linear thrust units to SA multi-turn actuators, they act as linear actuators, also referred to as linear thrust units.
The following indications serve the purpose of a rough outline. Please refer to the separate data sheets for more detailed infor- mation.
The 4-Series Mag-Drive Gear Pumps were designed for OEM applications such as chemical feed systems. These pumps offer a large selection of materials to cover a wide variety of chemical processing applications. A unique feature of the 4-Series pump is its parallel port connections located on the front of the pump. The 4-Series pumps are available in 316 SS, Alloy-C or Titanium construction and deliver flows up to 3.5 GPM at differential pres- sures up to 100 PSI.
The Mag-drive pump is the ultimate method for handling haz- ardous liquids since it eliminates the need for dynamic seals, which are the most common source of leaks in standard sealed pumps. Mag-drive pumps come standard in close-cou- pled configuration with mounting bracket and outer magnet that will attach to the motor frame size specified when order- ing. These pumps can also be furnished from the factory with any type of motor, variable speed drive or gear reducer.

Care must be taken in blow off piping so that no water hammer effect causes shock to the “Y” blow off valve, especially in cases where a boiler has two blow down lines. In such cases both lines should be piped to a common set of blow down valves or each blow off line should be piped separately to the blow down separator. Excessive water hammer or shock can destroy valves and piping and could cause injury.
