GLOBE VALVES
Globe Valves use a linear motion to move a closure member into and out of a seating surface. They have a body distinguished by a globular-shaped cavity around the port region. Many single-seated valve bodies use cage or retainer-style constructions to re- tain the seat ring, provide valve plug guiding, and provide a means for es- tablishing particular valve flow char- acteristics.
Fisher E-Body Valves come any many configurations and options including soft and hard trims, body/trim materials, flow characteristics as well as balanced and unbalanced plugs to meet the demands of most applications.
Features & Benefits
- Multiple trim material choices
- Interchangeable, restricted-capacity trims and full-sized trims to match variable process flow demands
- Different cage/plug styles that provide particular flow characteristics for highly-specialized applications. The standard cage comes in three different flow characteristics: quick-opening, linear, or equal percentage.
- Whisper Trim_ I, Whisper Trim III (figure 6), and WhisperFlo_ cages (figures 4 and 5) attenuate aerodynamic noise in gaseous service.
